How did ancient sculptors carve the different types of stone? How did they transfer them from the quarry? What materials did they prefer, how sophisticated were their tools, what techniques did they use and how did they give "life" to their works? The sculptures of the Acropolis Museum hide many secrets of ancient sculpture. Students are invited to discover them by visiting the Museum's galleries digitally in the company of the archaeologists.
The program is designed and implemented by the Educational Programs Department of the Acropolis Museum.
